On Sunday afternoon my daughters took me rock scampering at Javelina Rocks, Saguaro National Park, at the base of the Rincon Mountains east of Tucson. We get out there several times a year and always have a blast climbing around.
Here are a few small photos of the trip, and there’s a gallery of 25 photos here.
Posing for that camera-toting dad before climbing.
Our younger daughter scampers.
Our older daughter enjoys the view.
Striking lichen on the rocks, with ocotillo and saguaro in the background.
